Do you know that the current world we live in, the natural or physical world we see is created from the spiritual realm? This means that if you're a believer in Jesus Christ you have an inherent spiritual authority that carries more power than any authority you carry on Earth. This is a spiritual reality. Most people get caught up in living within the means of what they experience with their gifted five senses which also come from the spiritual realm, given by God. They think that they are blessed because they have money or good careers, even seemingly good families. But when trouble comes knocking on their doors, they quickly realize that nothing they possess can help them. Experiencing life by only tapping into our five senses tremendously limits us from fully experiencing spiritual renewal and physical growth that only comes from having a relationship with Christ. We often hear it preached that there is power in Christ, in His blood, and in our tongues. Why then is the believer often identifying with natural happenings, current events and circumstances that occur within the physical realm and not paying attention to what is occuring in the spiritual realm?
My apologies, but you can't claim to have a relationship with Jesus Christ and not transcend into the unlimited power that is available to you as a child of God. Now, after thinking about it, there is a reason why many believers do not tap into that supernatural power. It's because they are not allowing the Word of God and His principles to 'renew their minds and hearts'. This has nothing to do with how long you've been a practicing Christian but whether you have surrendered your old nature and begun to put your limited physical nature at His mercy and begun changing your words to reflect His words. When you begin to live your life dependent on the power and authority that belongs only to Christ but has been rightfully passed down to God's children, believers, by spiritual legalities, you begin to grow in spiritual knowledge, wisdom, and power.
The full picture here is that this type of living is essential because we wage war with spiritual enemies of God and humans. Deep down inside you know that there is God and Satan. Satan has limited power over the spiritual and natural world, but nonetheless, it's power that humans who are limited to only the physical realm are no match for. You ask, why would a good God allow all of the suffering in the world? But you fail to recognize free will and Satan's authority to obviously cause chaos and hopelessness in our current world by exploiting unyielded hearts to God's plan for humanity. Satan knows that if he can cause evil and natural and physical distractions in the Earth, then he distracts and separates hearts from their creator. Satan cannot create, he is a created being, just like you and me. So, if God allowed him limited power for a time, why wouldn't God provide his people, power to defeat our enemy? He has given us all power and authority to wage spiritual war that then transcends into the natural things of life. It's called spiritual warfare that is fought and won through consistent prayer and obedience to God and His precepts.
Open your spiritual eyes and you will see. There is a war (that may seem knew to each generation but in fact is ancient) raging all around the world and men without the authority of Christ, with limited vision, are the ones leading it, and they are clearly losing against the power of evil. It has transcended from the spiritual into the natural but humans are blind and have adapted to the lies of Satan. We cannot remain as if in a trance, blinded from the truth. God tells us that the truth is in Christ alone and that this truth will set your being free forever and will bring you into right standing with God, forever. That this freedom is available to the unbeliever by accepting Christ and His truth now. Believers can experience a God-level of power and anointing through accepting that their purpose is to engage in the spiritual fight, putting on the armor (attributes) of God and begin standing firm and fighting with modeling the attributes of God and being in constant prayer. We are promised Victory when we approach life in this way. When you trust God with everything, He trusts you with what in comparison to His power are simple things in life. The things that we focus on as humans, those limited setbacks, problems, and hurts are no match for an all-knowing, all-powerful, and universal God, the only one true God of the universe, Jehovah.
If you read this and want to experience God's power to make all things new surrender your will and mindsets. Please say this prayer and mean it with your heart. Believe He is who He says He is, Savior and Lord of all!
Prayer for Rededication and Conversion:
"Heavenly Father, I come before you today with a humble heart, recognizing my limitations and acknowledging my shortcomings and sins. I admit that I have strayed from following your precepts and need your forgiveness. I turn away from my old ways and receive a life of faith and service to you. I give you my will and seek to do your will. I rededicate my entire life to you, Lord, and accept your guidance and strength to walk in your ways. Renew my spirit, fill me with your Holy Spirit, and help me to live a life that is pleasing to you. I give you back control of my life and the mess that I have created, please help me turn my thoughts and adoration back to you. Thank you for your love and mercy, and may your will be done in my life. Amen."
Prayer for Salvation and Acceptance:
"Lord Jesus, I repent of depending solely on my physical existence and ignoring your limitless power and authority over every living thing. I recognize that my life is full of sin which keeps me separated from your protection, blessings and inheritance of power and authority that is only available to the child of God. I surrender my life. Wash me clean. I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. That he died on the cross for my sins and rose again on the third day for my victory, I believe that in my heart and make confession with my mouth, that Jesus is my Savior and Lord. I will follow your words and practice your precepts for the rest of my natural life. Thank you for accepting me as I am and helping me to start anew. Amen."
