Hello friends! My name is Julia Angiletta. I am an American Christian author who is passionate about all things "Bible" and the transformation of hearts and minds that applying and practicing biblical principles daily brings. I became a Christian believer over 25 years ago. I wish I could type that it has been a fantastic ride but I'd be a liar. The truth is that I come from a broken and dysfunctional lifestyle. As a very young child, I learned all too fast that the world is full of hate-filled "Monsters". Instead of being nurtured and protected, I was actively living in a volatile and negatively charged environment. No child should be subjected to living in uncertainty, fear, and unpredictability. My story began with very little substance and much violence and abuse. All repercussions of an alcoholic father and a mother who imposed corporal punishment. I accepted the abuse as being a way of life. I had other traumatic SA experiences and violence against me that further caused me emotional and mental anguish. You'll be surprised to read that I have never taken any medication for the trauma but there was a period of my adolescence when I self-medicated by experimenting with substance and alcohol use as a form of avoidance and dissociation. By the grace of God, I was never addicted to any substance. There is no way around the facts but there is a way through. I found my way in Christ at the age of 12. I gave my heart to Jesus but I did not give Him my soul. It took me years to take God at His word, literally. I loved God but did not understand how to apply and remain faithful to His principles. I could not trust and truly love so I could not believe Him either. Unfortunately for me, I had to come through the muck and mire to find newfound hope and resilience. But God was faithful. Throughout the years, I learned that I could fully trust God's heart towards me and that He had a greater plan. I struggled but never gave up the hope that His word provided me as I came through a lot of abuse, heartaches, brokenness, losses, trauma, self-imposed circumstances, and wrong relationships. But like the metaphor of peeling an onion, a gradual healing process began to take place in my life. A shedding of old belief systems and thwarted perspectives began to unfold. I always say that if it had not been for the love, mercy, and grace of God, I would have been dead, in prison, or mentally destroyed -But God!

And now I have a bold and unwavering faith and a confident and passionate desire to share the good news of Jesus Christ through being transparent and not ashamed of my past. God has given me a new perspective and a new direction to spread His word as I share my life lessons and the firm foundation that God has built in me. I am a fire-tested, power-filled, fearless daughter of the Most High God and I truly believe there is no stopping a child of God once they find solace and peace in the safety of their heavenly Father's wings of love and protection. Christ continues to heal me and like the peel of that onion, I keep discovering more each day, that every broken and thirsty soul needs the Savior and Healer. As I walked aimlessly and lost on the broken road that is called my life, I encountered Jesus, and like the woman at the well, I have never been the same since. And like her, I testify of the man I encountered. I always knew He was the Messiah -my answer -your answer.
