Wow! This book was a genuine pleasure and blessing. It is extremely rare to read a book that is so honest and truthful. Julia bares her soul in such a wonderful and inspiring way. Also, what impacted me in a unique way was the spirit of forgiveness woven throughout its pages. Julia’s story was Scriptural—leaving the reader with not only learning about her, but even more compelling was the compassion shown by her towards her sometimes abusive family members. Last, this book left the reader with something of a clear path and plan to follow when perhaps seeking some level of closure, redemption and meaning for their own lives—the pain and deeply personal experiences included! A true winner for all to glean from and beautiful true story about the path to personal wholeness!

Julia Angiletta provides a unique exposure of traumas most individuals leave “swept under the rug”.
Her story, from the innocence of a child, to traumatic life experiences, to the ultimate gift of forgiveness that God blesses us with leaves you wanting to know how a woman whose life was haulted by so many different roadblocks can have such a strong faith and walk with God in complete surrender after surrendering most of her life to other humans had caused so much damage.
This is the perfect book for you if you are struggling to forgive individuals and circumstances in your past or as a gift for someone you know is struggling with the same.
“This redemptive healing takes place within the soul after confessing forgiveness for those who hurt you and further asking God to provide the courage it takes to continuously forgive someone time and time again in your mind when your thoughts haunt you, and remind you of the person who has violated you “
This statement is very powerful and extremely accurate. You never forget, but you can forgive.

In the book the author, Julia, states, "This book is not written to draw attention to the injustices or hurts in my life but rather to point to the road to recovery. To point to the goodness of God and how His loving kindness can restore even the most shattered of hearts." And this book does just that!
Through Julia's openness and transparency the reader is shown the good, the bad, and the ugly. However, what is shown even brighter is the love of Christ and His care and love for each one of His children!
I would encourage every person to read this book. While not everyone has gone through the difficulties in life that Julia has, we have all gone through our own struggles.
This book is an excellent blueprint to help us see ourselves as God truly sees us and for Him to heal our deepest wounds.

Julia’s story is the good, the bad + the ugly of a life. But, most of all… it’s a story of hope. Of how God can take all the broken pieces of our life and make something beautiful. Nothing wasted or unredeemed. A story of how we may feel lost, forgotten + abused… but, that is not the truth. That is not the end. Because only our Heavenly Father has the final say. And, He is weaving together beauty from our ashes… so that we can offer hope to others.
